The knowledge we have about the horti-cultural sector has increased over the past 25 years gained by Ronald. Thanks to his background bioprocess technology, his knowledge gained from employers and the projects he has undertaken, Ronald has been working on lighting for plant growth for more than 25 years.
Among other things, Ronald was a consultant for the Max Planck Institutes (MPI), Montsanto/Bayer, Syngenta and the algae laboratory on Antartica, and is the spiritual father of all climate systems (Phytotron) at the universities of Leiden, Utrecht and Groningen.
In cooperation with Seoul Semiconductor Rofianda has developed a lamp that features the Sunlike v2 LED chip, with a full daylight spectrum (380-780nm). The luminaire consists of 2 modules of 180cm long allowing the light to be distributed evenly across the bed. The PPFD value is 500µmol/m2/s.
The luminaire is impact-proof (IK10), dust- and waterproof (IP66) and is cooled by means of natural convection. The luminaire is therefore resistant to moisture in the greenhouse and, thanks to its construction, easy to install and maintain.
In addition, the luminaire is both dimmable as switchable available so that the desired light output can always be set.
Because every horticultural project has its own wishes and requirements we would be happy to work with you to find the best solution for your specific situation.
